Family Support Planning

Following assessment, the allocated Child & Family Case Worker will map out a comprehensive Support Plan for your child and/or family. It is crucial that parents are involved in every aspect of that plan. Dochas adopts an empowering, whole-family approach and we ask that parents are committed to change in order to benefit from our supports. Support planning includes linking in with other organisations in the interest of the child i.e., CAMHS, local agencies/schools, SENO’s (or SENCo), primary care etc.

The plan will highlight the identified needs, goals, expected outcomes and is reviewed regularly. Over time the support plan will grow as more needs emerge and on average the Plan will go through at least four-five major revisions across a twelve to eighteen-month period.
